Training Courses

To provide affordable, appropriate and innovative vocational training; demand driven courses have been devised by Furniture Pakistan through synergized efforts with local and foreign experts & eminent stake holders of repute e.g. TEVTA Wood Working Center Gujrat, Pak German Wood Working Center Peshawar, PUM-Netherlands, etc. in order to disseminate valuable knowledge and skills.

Salient features of the training courses designed by Furniture Pakistan are:

  • Free courses and training material.

  • Students are supported with monthly stipend of Rs. 3000/-per student.

  • Training program is objectivized to attract poor & unemployed youth for training in employable skills.

  • To enable poor and deserving students to have more options for sustainable livelihood.

  • Meet the emerging demand of skilled workers for furniture industry.

  • To acquaint the students with latest furniture manufacturing skills and technologies.

Complete Courses:
  • One month training course on “Basic Wood Working” has been completed in May 2015.
  • A batch of 15 Trainees successfully completed the training program.
Ongoing courses:

Three month training course on “Basic Wood Working” is in process in CEFWA Sargodha and CFTMC Chiniot with strength of 15 students at each sites.
